Tiffany lamps of the Art Nouveau period were often cast with elaborate bases depicting flora and fauna. Our whimsical turtle is similar to lamps in the collections of our Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. His shell of amber-hued glass serves as the shade while his finely-detailed bronze-finished brass body forms the base. Needs a candelabra-base nightlight bulb. On/Off switch on cord. 9" l. x 4" h.
